The Heart Behind the Name:

11th and Wildwood

Photography has always been about more than just capturing a moment for me; it’s about preserving the people and stories that shape who we are. When I decided to rebrand, I knew I wanted my business name to reflect the deepest roots of my own story.
11th and Wildwood isn't just a set of coordinates—it’s a tribute to my biggest fan.
My journey with the lens began at sixteen, the year my dad placed my very first camera in my hands. He didn't just give me a tool; he gave me a way to see the world. From that day on, he was the loudest voice in my corner, encouraging me to chase the light and capture the beauty in front of me.
When he passed, I felt a calling to weave his legacy into the fabric of my work. I chose this name to honor the man who started it all:

11th: For November, the month he was born.
Wildwood: For the street in Texas where his story began in 1931, in a humble home that taught him the value of family and hard work.

By bringing together the time he entered the world and the place that raised him, I’ve created a space where his memory lives on through every shutter click.

When you work with me, you’re working with someone who understands that a photo is a piece of history. I bring that same sense of honor, significance, and "humble roots" heart to every session, ensuring your story is told with the same love my father showed me.
